I wasted an hour of my life here due to someone’s mistake. Received a gift from here and wanted to return as we had a duplicate item. Live over an hour away from this location but had to return at this location since it was bought there which was fine. We called to ensure we could get store credit because how embarrassing would it be to have it charged back to the gifters credit card. Someone (male) told us we could get a store credit when we called which was great because we intended on buying seed. We get to the store and start the return and the cashier said we could only do charge back if we had the card or we could do a store credit. We told her store credit was what we were looking for as we got this as gift and we obviously don’t have the card. Well, she did charge back to the card and had to call someone to try to fix it. She could not fix the mistake so we had to make a really embarrassing phone call because it was charged back to the gifters card. We ended up getting store credit with the assumption that the person would call to authorize the recharging of their card (which they eventually did). I have used bird food from Wild Birds Unlimited previously and it is the best for the birds. I was buying suet and Noah was helpful, they have a savings program that costs $25 a year that gives discounts on products. I signed up because I will need more bird food and may look at other products they have.

A cute little store located in Durham that is locally owned. It's like a hidden gem. I saw it last week as I was getting a haircut and looked inside and was amazed. I came in today and was blown away. The staff was helpful and very knowledgeable of birds. The staff is also very friendly.

Knowledgeable, friendly staff. My backyard birds love their Durham blend of bird seed. I’ve enjoyed their great service and quality products for more than 14 years.

I have been ordering online from this store for a while now but today was the first day I've been there in person. They have lots of food to choose from and the birds in my yard have loved it all. Carolyn was a delight to talk to and she helped me find exactly what I needed. I've attached photos of just a handful of the birds that I've attracted to the yard with food from WBU.
